Slow the word down and notice each sound.
A PHONICS-BASED SPELLING PROGRAM
Spelling makes more sense when children learn to hear it.
Help your child listen for every sound, connect sounds to letters, and spell with growing confidence—one careful word at a time.
For children who can already read simple words by sounding them out.

WHEN SPELLING FEELS LIKE GUESSING
Your child may not need another word list.
They may need a repeatable way to slow a word down, hear what is really there, and connect those sounds to letters.
Spelling by Sound teaches the thinking underneath the word—not memorizing and hoping.
TRY IT TOGETHER
Three sounds. Four letters. One word understood.
Count and connect the sounds to letters.
Write, check, correct gently, and use it again.
WHAT LEARNING LOOKS LIKE
Clear for parents. Engaging for children.
Children listen, sort, build, correct, read, and write. Parents always know what to say and what to do next.

QUESTIONS PARENTS ASK
A few things to know.
Is my child ready for Spelling by Sound?
It is designed for a child who can sound out simple words but still drops sounds, confuses vowels, guesses, or relies heavily on memorization. Readiness matters more than a grade label.
Do I need teaching experience or special supplies?
No. The Parent & Teacher Guide tells you what to prepare and say. A pencil and printed pages are enough; tiles, counters, and a whiteboard are optional.
Does one unit equal one week?
No. Repeat, pause, or add practice days whenever your child needs more time. The sequence is structured, but the pace stays gentle.
Curriculum or Skill Builder—which should I choose?
Choose the complete curriculum for the full 30-unit teaching sequence. Choose a Skill Builder for concentrated practice with one specific spelling pattern.
